McMullen Interiors was set up by John McMullen a professional carpenter since 2011. John began his City & Guilds in 1999 and right from the start he knew that his interest in the trade was more than just a means to make a living. He served an extremely wide and varied apprenticeship; his intention was to learn and master the many types of carpentry and joinery, from traditional pitched roofs to staircases.
Once his apprenticeship was complete John worked for several local building companies before progressing to a major construction company where he was employed as a Site Manager overseeing the carpentry work. Having gained over a decade of experience in the industry it was in this role that John decided to set up his own firm; and so McMullen Interiors was founded.
We are proud to put our name to anything we do and we treat every project that is undertaken as if it were in our own homes.

Our process involves an initial consultation to understand your requirements. Or if you prefer, we can usually quote over email if you can provide the dimensions of your space and a good description of the style you'd like. You can email us on mcmulleninteriors@gmail.com
Our the scope and initial quote is approved, we'll get to work designing and agreeing all details with you. This followed by prep and construction of your furniture in our dedicated workshop space.
Finally, we agree an install day with you and fit the pre-made elements into the final piece - with as little disruption to your home as possible.
Lead-times can vary depending on our current workload and the complexity of your project. That said, we do everything we can to be efficient and deliver you a quality product in as little time possible. We can give you an acurate lead-time on request.
For minimal disruption in your home, all furniture is made & sprayed professionally at our purpose built Workshop, Installation usually only takes 1 day.
